Current base rate per stop is *$17.00 for typical country / ranch home or property. Unfortunately the current cost of fuel is what influences these prices at their base. Prices were last adjusted 1/08

Price basics: (including pasture feeding from one location and 2 dogs)

  • Throw feed or feed at 1 centralized area
  • Add supplements or treats
  • Add pre-bagged (by owner) medical supplements to feed
  • Top off waters - check floats
  • Turn-out / return at night and latch
  • Put on and removal of Fly Masks (equine willing)
  • Watch for lameness / body check
  • ...and because what ranch doesn't have a dog or barn cat?
  • Feed the dogs/cats and provide fresh water
  • Dogs Out/ IN when leaving, or that night
  • Socialize / play time (10 - 15 mins avg.) Bodies check
  • Note any traffic onto property

Travel distance already factored in for service areas

* This price does not include any Misc./basic home care i.e. house plants, mail, trash, alarms, etc.
Base rate will jump to $20.00 per stop if adding in-house chores.

What to consider and factor in:

If stalled- number the of equine
Fly sheets / single layer any type
Fly spray     N/C (horse willing)
Blankets / heavy
No. of Pastured animals ( feed & top waters)
Muck stalls (avg. 1000 lb. animal)
Muck stalls (drafts, 2000 lb. + animal)

"most folks Do Not have stalls mucked unless leaving for longer periods, or Do have them done daily for show animals - depending. Chance of liability, for person or horse, need to be seriously factored in. Cleaning stalls will not be considered until introductions have been made.
